Ok, so i may be a few hours early, but hell, what can i say? I dont have much time to post, so i thought I would pop on and let you guys know I havent died or anything..
I have been oh so very busy.. like you wouldnt believe.. First, internet went bye bye, then all hell broke loose & i have been on a massive cleaning kick.. Actually, its more like, the army came and packed our schtuff and moved it, so i have been gettting our house ready for the next people to come and live in it.. Its sad to me tho, this is OUR house.. we own it.. so its not like leaving a house you rented.. So many emotions are locked inside those walls.. I will be sad to leave it when we finally leave tx.. but.. we gotta.. the job market around here sucks, so we would end up losing our house instead of renting it out..
on the upside.. E did his "final out" for the army.. so in a couple weeks, once his TDY is done with (for some reason, instead of terminal leave, med boards have TDY) I will no longer be an "army wife"
those 2 words (Army Wife) have defined who I am for the past 8yrs (ok, just shy of 8yrs) I have met so many wonderful people in those years.. BUT i have also found out, to my surprise, that many of the military spouses I have encountered have been the most arrogant, cold hearted, spineless, backstabbing wenches I have ever met.. NOW i am not saying the majority of them are like that, just a handful.. but watchout if you ever get on their bad side.. YIKES.. *sigh* I am just glad to be done.. I think..
I think both Me & E owe the military a lot.. we would not have what we have without it.. we would not be where we are without it & We would not have met all the awesome people did, had it not been for the military.. So.. I say, on this wonderful New Years Eve.. Starting over.. in the real world.. in 2005 is so exciting, but so fricken scary at the same time.. But i wouldnt have it any other way.
Happy New Year Everyone!!!
the next time you hear from me, i will be back in my home state.. NEW JERSEY!!!!!!!!!!

Yikes! I can't believe its been this long since I posted anything. I have been pretty busy around here, getting ready to start working, getting ready to move.. i tell ya, i am at a complete loss for time. Anyway.. So i spent all this time on getting ready to start working & wouldnt you fricken know it, there are fee's i need to pay that I had NO IDEA i needed to pay. I was told that NONE of these fee's are mandatory & IF i didnt get the MLS, it just meant that I couldnt sell anything that was not in the office.. heh.. i go today to pay it (thinking it was one amount) and they ask me to pay almost 2x as much. i about shit myself. So the lady gave me some options.. it was so high because it was the end of this years (they cant prorate it, thanks for telling me they could focker) and the first quarter of next years, plus the entire board fee, which my broker said that they paid and it gets reimbursed from me to them.. (HA! the lady at the baord said that it gets paid the first quarter up front, from me, and the second one, they will pay it and reimburse.. thanks again!!) anyway... i am at home waiting for the broker to call me, i need to talk to him to figure out what to do.. if only they had told me earlier, i would have been able to save this amount up... I also now have to pay back my mom the money they gave me for passing my test to be able to pay the mls. i also have to tell the broker that we are leaving in feb, so he can send my licence (that he just got) back to trec (certified of course)... I will start over again in Jersey.. fock it.. i wanna go home... the sooner e gets out of the army, the better...

I found this on a message board i go to, i thought it was interesting and i dont honestly know if the facts are correct or not..
either way, if its right, the coincidences are very odd
#11 has become to be a very interesting number. It could be a forced
coincidence, but in any case this is interesting. You decide for yourself:
1) New York City has 11 letters.
2) Afghanistan has 11 letters.
3) Ramsin Yuseb (The terrorist who threatened the Twin Towers in 1993) has
11 letters.
4) George W. Bush has 11 letters.
This could be a mere coincidence... (Could it be?)
Now here is what is interesting...
1) New York is the State # 11
2) The first plane crushing against the Twin Towers was flight #11.
3) Flight # 11 was carrying 92 passengers adding this number gives us:
9+2=11.
4) Flight # 77 who also hit the towers was carrying 65 passengers adding
this: 6+5=11.
5) The tragedy was on September 11, or 9/11. Adding this:
9+1+1=11
6) The date is equal to the emergency number 911. Adding this: 9+1+1=11
Now we have a very upsetting piece..
1) The total number of victims inside the planes are 254:
2+5+4=11
2) The day September 11 is day number 254 of the calendar year: 2+5+4=11
3) After September 11, there are 111 days more to the end of the year.
4) The tragedy of 3/11/2004 in Madrid also adds to:
3+1+1+2+4=11.
5) The tragedy in Madrid happened 911 days after the tragedy of the Twin
Towers..
Spooky!!
This is something to think about!
Since America is typically represented by an Eagle. Saddam and Bin Laden
should have read up on their Muslim passages...
The following verse is from the Quran, (the Islamic Bible).
Quran (9:11) -- For it is written that a son of Arabia would awaken a
fearsome Eagle. The wrath of the Eagle would be felt throughout the lands
of
Allah and lo, while some of the people trembled in despair still more
rejoiced; for the wrath of the Eagle cleansed the lands of Allah; and there
was peace.
Note the verse number!!!!! |

*stretch.. grumble* I am really starting to hate rainy weather.. It has been raining here since last weekend.. a little rain almost every day.. today.. ugh.. tornado warnings going on, severe thunderstorms.. hail the size of quarters up to the size of golfballs (saw both today) Its so dark and so dreary, I just dont want to do a damn thing. its funny tho.. i can only see this itty bitty square in the middle of my tv because of all the flood watches/warnings/ severe thunderstorm watches/warnings, tornado watches.. kinda aggrivating when you think about it.
anyway.. things around here have been sooo damn boring. We are still waiting to find out when my dear darling husband will be getting out of the army. We are at the next to last stage of the med board.. should be about a week or so before we know anything.
I am having really bad mixed feelings about him getting out. Since I was 19yrs old and thrown to the wolves, so to speak, all I have ever known is the military way of life.. I dont remember the 'normal' way of life.. I mean, how do you define normal anyway?? If you define 'normal' as spending approximately 4 years out of 8years apart from your husband normal, then i guess i already have a normal life... If you say that WANTING at least a week away from your spouse every couple few months is normal, then again, i am living a normal life.. if you say that moving every few years is normal, then WOOHOO i am normal.. if you say that having to raise your children by yourself while worrying about the safety of your husband is normal, then damn, i am tired of being normal..
in a few more months i will find out just how boring normal can be.. i am talking about the real normal, where i will have to train myself to speak again, so that civilians can understand me (oops, see i said civilians, i should have said normal people) I will have to get used to noone calling my house at 3am and asking for sgt *******, i will have to get used to having a full time husband.. (imagine that... wonder if we can survive that.... lol 24/7 together minus work time?? we might be fist ta cuffs after a while)
anwyay.. just some ponderings.. i cant seem to focus much today :( must be the rain..

Please sign this petition if you think that the marine who shot the terrorist in iraq should have NO charges pushed on him..
there are other sites out there linking to the petition as well... you can find them:
Okieminnie Me states that " I'm joining the several tens of thousand others who are signing a petition addressed to Congress imploring that NO charges be brought against a marine who was doing what he was trained to do: fight"
Uncommon Thoughts thinks that " Marine being railroaded" is not a good thing & asks that you sign the petition as well.
*i will be adding links as people link to it.. *
